This Three-day conference has been reviewed and approved by Western Washington University's Communication Sciences & Disorders department for 2 quarter college credits for 20 hours of direct instruction. (Course Number- CSD 597B)
This set of courses is intended for the professional development of the attendee. The WWU credits may not be used as elective credits in a graduate degree program.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR CREDIT: Download the WWU registration form by clicking on the icon above. WWU registration forms will also be available at the WWU registration booth at the conference. You may mail the completed WWU registration form directly to the college prior to the event. Complete the form and send the completed form with payment to the address provided on the form. You must attend all three days of the conference, attend two of the lunch-time activities and complete a short written assignment and turn in the assignment at the WWU booth. COST OF COLLEGE CREDIT: The cost of the 2 quarter college credits is $100 ($50 per credit).
REQUIREMENTS: You MUST attend the entire three-day conference to register for college credit and participate in two of the lunch-time activities in the auditorium scheduled on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and complete a short written assignment along with your conference evaluation form.
You MUST sign-in at the registration desk in the morning and after lunch, EACH DAY (6 signatures required), attend and participate in the entire conference (6 hours of course participation each day), complete AND SUBMIT the course evaluation form at the end of each day, and accurately complete the WWU college application form (provided above and at the WWU registration booth at the conference). Applications must be received by WWU by the last day of the conference. You may fax your application to:
Note: Attendance at the entire conference and participation in two noon hour activities (20 hours total) will be verified by signing the registration signature sheets in the morning and after lunch. Participants must complete course evaluations, including statements of what they learned in the courses. Participants must submit a written report of five case examples that demonstrates how they are applying, or intend to apply, what they learned from conference courses to their clinical practice. Report format will be provided upon registration. Leave your report and conference evaluation in the appropriate place at the WWU booth.
When applying for college credit, use the same name on your college application that you used on your conference registration form. Rehab Seminars will not be able to verify your attendance with WWU if you register under different names! (If you have a name change after you register for the conference, notify Rehab Seminars of your name change so we can update your registration information and verify your attendance with WWU.)
